Bangkok
I began in Bangkok, before going north to Chiang Mai, then returned to meet Charlotte on my way south, before returning to complete my journey and leave Thailand 22 days after I first arrived. |

1 of 8 - Breakfast in Bangkok
I made friends with these Thai brother and sisters on the overnight
bus from Chiang Mai to Bangkok.
They were on their way to the full moon party on Koh Pha Ngan, where
I met up with them the next day. |

2 of 8 - Chinese Parade
This Chinese parade passed by Kao San
Road, but we only saw the tail end of it going down the street.

3 of 8 - Tuk Tuk Ride
I only took these things a couple of times, seeing Bangkok by foot most of the time. |

4 of 8 - Tuk Tuk Ride
This photo shows what a squeeze it can be to put more than
just a couple of people in a single tuk tuk. |

5 of 8 - Pheung
This my friend, Pheung, who's name is Thai for bee, and myself
when we were saying goodbye. She and her brother and sister took
the bus south, while I took a plane the next afternoon.

6 of 8 - My Friend, Charlotte
Charlotte and I sat together through many of our maths lectures
at the University of Sheffield and worked together my first summer
in the USA.
She's usually sat at an actuary's desk in central London, but I
managed to catch up with her as she was travelling around the world. |

8 of 8 - Breakfast in Bangkok (Again)
I hadn't seen her in a couple of years and thought I'd get a picture
of her in daylight too.
