The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK, or North Korea)

Hyundai-Asan, of South Korea, have set up a tourist resort so Koreans can visit Geumgang Mountain and see some of the best scenery the peninsula has to offer, in an area on the east coast, just accross the demilitarised zone that buffers the two Koreas.

I went over on the longest package available: 3 days and 2 nights, which was not long, but there wasn't much to do there either, so it was a nice relaxing weekend.

Unfortunately, as I waited for the bus in downtown Seoul in the early hours of Saturday morning, I discovered my digital camera was incapable of taking photos (a new lens has ended up costing me half of what I paid for the camera!)

Strangely, the video function seemed to work fine, so I used up all 2.5GB of my memory cards with video of the trip.

Of course, I couldn't go and not take photos, so I bought a couple of single-use cameras and will have to do with posting poor quality scanned prints on the site.
