Hong Kong

I had about five hours in transit at Hong Kong International Airport, which I expected to be long and boring.
But, on coming in to land, I heard that the train to the center of the city took just 23 minutes.
So, with my only piece of luggage in my hands I whizzed through immigration and was speeding downtown soon after stepping off the plane.

The city's buildings were lit up like none I've seen before (perhaps because it was Christmas?)
Christmas decorations in the city were very impressive.

Things that added a British feel to the city were the double-decker buses, street signs, and bitter (pictured here).
I wish this stuff were available in Korea, not so much because it's my favourite, but also because I'm tired of trying to explain what it is!
An international mix of people live and work in the city.
I met Adam (below) from Dubai, who was an intern for a bank.

Having lived in Korea so long, even a bottle of cider is so good it has to be photographed.
(In Korea, cider is lemonade.
Lemonade is Sprite, 7-Up, etc.)
