London, England
The first couple of photos are of Westminster Palace, in which are the Houses of Parliament of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
The Clock Tower is commonly referred to as Big Ben,
which is actually the name of the 13.7-tonne bell.
The Millenium Wheel (or London Eye) is in the
background, on the south bank of the River Thames.

No. 10 Downing Street, on the right,
is the home of the Prime Minister
and
also to the Cabinet Room, where
government's top committee
meets weekly.
This is another cabinet room - the War Cabinet Room where PM Winston Churchill and others conducted the U.K.'s role in World War II.
The Cabinet War Rooms are located in the basement of what is now the Treasury, between Downing Street and Westminster.

A stone Queen Victoria is seated in this, her
memorial, in front of Buckingham Palace.

The Diana, Princess of Wales, Memorial Fountain was opened in July, 2004.
This photo was taken at the memorial's official opening.

The famous Tower Bridge opens a few times a week to let large vessels pass through.

This photo was taken looking down the spiralling 311 steps of the Monument.
It stands to commemorate the Great Fire of London and to celebrate the city's rebuilding.

A very large and very expensive tent with
nothing inside -
the Millenium Dome.
