Crete (Κρήτη)

From June until the end of October I lived and worked in the village of Kokkini Hani (Κοκκίνη Χάνι) a few minutes east of Heraklion (Ηρακλείον), the island's capital, on the northern coast.

I had come by ship from Lesvos to Chania, a beautiful city on the western end of the island, where I spent a couple of days before moving east.

I worked for a water sports business with three stations operated, not exclusively, for hotels in Kato Gouves and Anissaras, as well as the one seen here, in Kokkini.

The photos on this page show what I and my friends would usually get up to in our free time, especially on rare days off, which, in my case, were due to poor weather and/or sea conditions.
