Lake Louise
Lake Louise is said to be one of the most beautiful lakes in the world.
The nearby village and ski resort take the same name.
This shot of Lake Louise was taken mid November.
It is possible to see the glacier in the back of the photo.
Just a few weeks later people were skating on the lake.

This is known as Morant's Curve.
The Canadian Pacific Railway and the road linking Lake Louise to Baker Creek both follow the Bow River's curve through the valley.
There's a freight train making climbing up the valley in this photo.

The RCMP abided by traditional dress code for the Ski World Cup
- the only time I saw them dressed this way.

taken on a rare night out in Banff.
