Ipanema

We headed to the Ipanema beach, just south of Copacabana, after our day on the boat.

The number of drinks we'd had only just became apparent to me as I made this page, finding only this one photo that was of a quality good enough to show!

We sat on this rock watching a model being photographed splashing in the water as the sun set on the horizon, and stayed well into the darkness of the evening.

I remember being surprised and amused to witness Brazilians applauding the sunset, here for the first time and then later on Corcovado Mountain.
